Can you explain blood oxygenation in a way that a kid could understand it?

Thank you so much for reaching out. This question sure got the hamster wheel going in my head. I composed a few different ways of explaining it, but each explanation became a bit too in depth perhaps depending on where on the K-5 scale we are talking here. I found a great website that actually did a better job than any of my explanations.
