animal project

Post by Tristan123 »

My son is wanting to use his lambs or goat for a science project. He has thought about How much does the wool grow in a year? Which species of lambs wool grows faster? Im looking for suggestions on other projects using livestock. Thanks

Hi Tristan123,

You can try a variation on cheese or butter-related projects, using different animals' milk instead of changing other variables:

You could also attempt a more advanced project about animal relationships with Earth's magnetic field:

Or you could do a variation on this fabric dyeing project, using different animal wools instead of fabric types:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p019.shtml

Hope this helps,
Allison
