Solar Oven Questions

Post by Cullen »

I'm doing a science experiment using a solar oven, and want to know more on how they really function. Here are a couple of my questions:
- How is heat trapped inside?
- Can different heat-absorbing materials inside the oven give different results when heating up food? If so, how big are the differences?

Responses will be much appreciated.

Hello Cullen and welcome to Science Buddies,
Your science project sounds very interesting and your questions look like the type of information that you will want to research and include in your project write up.

Here's a link to the Science Buddies Project guide which will help you get started doing the background research.
