variables

Post by cogs18 »

I am doing a project and the question is Does the type and color of fabric affect how much UV radiation can get through it?
I did the test with 5 min of uv, 30 min of uv and 1 hr of uv
I am confusing myself on the variable this is what i have

Independent - the fabric type and color
Dependent - the level of UV radiation measured
Control - The UV index level on the testing day

Are these correct? do i need to add something?

HELP!!!!

Hi cogs18 and welcome to Science Buddies,

Here's a link to the Science Buddies guide on "variables."

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... bles.shtml

Read through that discussion and look at the examples, and then look at your experiment, thinking again about what you read in that discussion! Let us know what you come up with!
