Egg Substitute Project

Post by lwoodbury23 »

Hi,

I am helping my daughter with the science project she selected off of Science Buddies, The Egg Substitute. We are unable to locate the exact measurements needed for our egg substitutions. Under the MATERIALS section it states: "See the website in the Bibliography for information on the amount of each substitute you will need to replace each egg". Can you please assist us in locating the Bibliography that will provide us with this much needed information.

Thank you,

Lisa

Hi Lisa!

Your daughter picked a great project. One of my favorites. You are right that there is no active link right now for the amount of substitute product on the site. Here is a site that contains almost all of the substitutes and their measurements.

http://chefinyou.com/egg-substitutes-cooking/

If you have other ideas for substitutes not covered, please post back with the product(s) being used so we can give you an exact measurement!

Have fun!!

It looks to me like the link in the bibliography at Science Buddies is working, and the linked page does give replacement substitutes and amounts.

Linked reference: http://www.thecookinginn.com/eggsub.html

If there is a problem with the link, please let me know so I can follow up with our staff.
