Need answer ASAP, pertaining to science fair.

Post by choobaca34 »

I need to know if this would count as an experiment:

I collected a lot of data on the topic, "Which power source available to us is the best?" I need some help creating a valid, easy experiment since it is due shortly. I was thinking of making a graph listing the data I found, would this work? And if so, give an example please. Answer ASAP!

Hello choobaca34,

Are you asking if listing the data you’ve collected qualifies as an experiment on your topic?
I think the answer might depend on what you did to collect your data. Please post some details about your project including the types of data you have and methods used to collect it. With some additional information we may be able to provide better advice.

I hope this helps. Please post again if you have more questions.

Hi priscilla12340987,

Welcome to the Ask an Expert forums! In order to help us help you, can you please tell us a bit more about the scientific question you are trying to answer or the hypothesis you are trying to test? What are the conditions under which you are wanting to measure light intensity?
All the best,
Terik
