Making Perfume

Post by doeringnicole »

For the project "Scintillating Scents: The Science of Making Perfume" is the end result supposed to be all liquid or have a bit of the oil left at the bottom of the jar that separated from the alcohol?

Hello doeringnicole,

After reviewing the project procedures, I think it’s possible that the alcohol and oil might separate a little after storage. You said that you had a small amount of oil at the bottom of the jar and that should be OK.

I hope this helps. Please post again if you have more questions.
