Paper Clip reaction (oxidation)

Post by Brookheart »

Hello! :D I have a question for you. What is the regular reaction of a paperclip being submerged in vinegar, water, and salt water. Does vinegar speed up oxidation? How does oxidarion occur? How does vinegar speed up oxidation? If you could please answer these questions, it would be very helpful!

Hi Brook,
I guess it depends on the material that the paper clip is made out of. Once you determine that, please look up oxidation with that material via google or other search engines.
Good Luck!
