Bath Bomb

Post by ashima »

I am in the process of doing the Bath Bomb experiment for the science fair.

Can anyone recommend a lab supply store where I can order all the supplies needed to measure the Co2 produced?

Hi Ashima,
I am afraid I am not aware of any instrument that can do a direct CO2 measurement for this experiment as currently configured. Just thinking out loud, the experiment will need to be modified and approached in a way that's similar to what they do in the soda / beverage industry. Specifically, taking a sample and then use something like this:

Good Luck and please let us know how it went!
