Hi Isabella0,
Perhaps you can give us a little more information to better help you. What kind of toxins do you want to test for?
Best,
Hannah

Hi isabella0,
Hannah has asked a good question. It would be helpful to know if you are interested in a specific toxin.
I do have a suggestion for a project that you can do without a liquid chromatography system. Here is a project from this website on measuring water toxicity using Daphnia:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p043.shtml
Daphnia are sensitive to any type of water toxin, and it is sometimes possible to detect toxins below the threshold of standard methods.
To do this project really well, you would need to order the Daphnia and culture them so you would have plenty to test multiple samples In duplicate.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
