❗️Radiation Situation Help❗️
Hello,
I need some help with my project.

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... #materials

So, I will be using a 254 nm UV-C light bulb, but the glasses in the science kit say they will protect against UV like "up to 385 nm."
Will these glasses be strong enough? If not, could I just put some tin foil around the light bulb so it would only hit the bacteria?

Thanks

EDIT: Changed aluminium foil to tin foil, as that would reflect radiation better.

Hi Danny5,

Yes, these glasses should protect you just fine.
