Radioactivity in bananas

Post by Faithlebone »

Hi
Bananas have k+(potassium) making them slightly radioactive... Since they are radioactive, can't cancer cells be killed or decreased by using the radioactivity of bananas?
Thank you

Hi Faithlebone,

In short - not quite. Radiation therapy is a very localized and forceful type of treatment. Here's a link if you want to read more about it -> https://www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/tre ... fact-sheet
