Electrolyte challenge: color of alligator clip

Post by pamela32123 »

I want to ask a question in connection with the experiment "electrolyte challenge". I live in a small town and I can't find a GREEN alligator clip. Does the clip need to be green? Is it fine if a use a black alligator clip? If not , is there any thing i can use that will give me the same results instead of the green alligator clip?

Sorry this response is so late. The colour is for you to be able to tell which is which. Electrically, there is no reason the clip needs to be a specific colour.
Hope this helps.
