Sound Experiment
Good morning. How are you? I am in 12th grade and I must give an experiment report to my Physic's teacher. I want to impress my teacher.Actually, I have to write a report about an experiment on sound, decibels, frequency (he didn't give more details) using recent technology like smartphones. He said to find app (oscilloscope, decibel meter...) or software and use it to do an experiment. The problem is I have no idea which apps to use and how to proceed with just a laptop and an Ipad. I don't know what kind of experiment I should . Would you plz give some suggestions.

Re: Sound Experiment
Hi Tesla,
The “Project Ideas” section of the Science Buddies website lists several projects on sound. Some of these involve measurements of sound wave frequency and sound level. A couple of examples are:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p029.shtml
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p102.shtml
Perhaps after a bit of searching the project ideas you’ll find one that fits with your interests.
I hope this helps. Please post again if you have more questions.
