Can we use the copper or zinc as electrode instead of nickel?

Hello sleep191,

The cobalt catalyst may not work with copper or zinc electrodes. I would use the nickel electrodes recommended in the project procedure.

I hope this helps and good luck with your project. Please post again if you have more questions.
