Time dilation and heat exchange

Post by walt39 »

Please, I need some help in one question.

Can heat exchange be affected by time dilation? For example, in local thermodynamic equilibrium (LTE), the intensive parameters varying in space and time slowly, but can the parameter of temperature T become even slower by time dilation?

Thank's.

Hey walt39,

Yes, it would seem that time dilation affects the time it take for heat exchange to occur. Let me know if you need anything else, or have any other questions.
