Absorption project for dyeing fabrics question

Post by 69roadrunner »

In the Absorption, dyeing fabrics with koolaid project procedure it listed out the amount of red 40 in a pack of cherry koolaid as 47 mg. The teacher required the use of a second drink as mentioned under the make it your own section. So have gone with blue raspberry koolaid as it only has blue #1 in it. But we have searched all over the internet and cannot find out how much blue 1 is in this koolaid to get the procedure started. Would anyone know or have a reference for the food dye in other koolaid?
Thanks

Hi 69roadrunner,
Please take a look at the following link:
http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10 ... 2814530803

I didn't see the value for the exact koolaid you picked within the table but may be there's something else in there that you can use.

Good Luck and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help.
