Could you please help me with the difference between the two phenomena? I know scattering of light is when light "bounces back" towards various directions after "hitting" an obstacle. I've read that diffraction is a special case of scattering when waves interfere to produce some of pattern.
Any clearer distinction?
Thank you

Hell Chemstud,
If this is your science project, please tell us more about the project - what are your hypotheses and describe your experimental design for collecting the data to test those hypotheses? This will help the experts here help you with your questions. Thank you.
