Robotics: Suggestions Required

Post by Hamzasfd »

We want to build a solar powered search and rescue robot. We have to control the robot with a radio remote control. We would like to use a cheap and good range remote control system for our robot. Could anyone tell what are our best options?

Hamzasfd,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum. The most suitable controller would depend on the requirements for your bot. To name a few, how many channels you'll need (one for each motor you'll need to control), what max range you'll need to operate at, and your budget. Below is a link to a shop that supplies a range of RC controllers to meet all kinds of needs.

Hope this helps.
