How to cool water in an evaporative cooler

Post by kcvinu »

Hi all,
I am living in India. In summer, the temperature is above 34 degree Celsius here. I have an evaporative cooler. But it won't reduce more than 3-4 degree. Then i try with water from my refregerator. Amazingly temperature decreases to a comfortable level. But the coolenss of the water will be lost after a few minutes. So i am searching to make the water in the tank of that cooler cool. Is there any easy way to reduce the temperature of that water ?.

Hi kcvinu,

Welcome to Science Buddies! These forums are specifically for students, parents, and teachers working on elementary, middle, and high school science fair projects. It sounds like your question isn't related to such a project. Consequently, a different set of online forums will be better able to help you with your question.
All the best,
Terik
