i need help making a lava lamp for 4th grade science fair
I don't know what makes it glow help me please

Are you working on this STEM Activity? Make an Alka-Seltzer Powered Lava Lamp ( https://www.sciencebuddies.org/stem-act ... -lava-lamp )
The picture at the top of this webpage that makes the "lava lamps" look like they are glowing has been taken with additional lighting applied. When following the instructions of this activity your lava lamp will look more like the lower pictures in the procedure that do not glow.
