Motor

I have been trying to make a motor but it won't rotate. THe battery is new and has 1.5v. It is one of those motors which has one magnet on the battery and a loop of wire on the top of it. I have done each and everything from one of the instructors on youtube but it won't work. Please help me. Check the image for a more detailed description.
