how does oxidation energy eg mg is able to break down hydrogen bonds????
(I'm looking at the effect of different metal ions on enzyme activity)

Thank you for your help!

Hi Mira,

I don't think I really follow your question. Metal ions are important for coordinating bonds in molecules such as hemoglobin, and I think that they can have a significant effect on enzyme catalysis depending on the structural changes that the ion induces in the molecule. Can you please re-state your first question?
