Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

I am having difficulty writing a controled, independent variable and dependent variable for Rocking the Boat Experiment.
It's for my sons science fair project.
Please if you can help me with that.

Sounds like a fun project! You will be testing how the length of the keel (independent variable) affects the number of oscillations (dependent variable) of a boat of consistent size/weight/positioning/etc (controlled variables).
