Please try a web search for "gold ore processing"
It will lead you to many web pages such as this one:

Hi Louise.
If you pose "how can we separate gold from its ore?" to answers.com, you get back eight answers, plus a full web search.
Note: eight is by far the largest hit rate I've seen in using answers.com (one, or at most two, is typical.) So either answers.com has improved, or your query is special/atypical. Either way, you win!
Note: please notice the correct spelling of "separate." answers.com catches the typo. Thanks.
Cheers!
Dave
