Hi,
I was thinking about maybe conducting a science fair project on drowsy drivers and creating a system that detects a drowsy driver (monitering their eyes and blinking is one way). Any suggestions on other projects I can conduct related to drowsy driving?
Also, what might be the level of expertise that might be needed? I am quite proficient at Java Programming, and have had some electronic experience (building basic circuits and doing minimum programming on pickaxe). Will this be enought? Or will I need more training and/or possibly a research lab where I can conduct this.
Thanks in advance!

Have you seen the project idea on distracted drivers in general, at:
http://www.sciencebuddies.org/science-f ... p018.shtmlThis might give you some ideas on possible experiments, in particular investigating people using a driving game rather than a real car.
Best wishes,
Gordon.
