The problem we are having is the balloon will not stick to the wall . We followed the directions over and over and have had no luck with this project . I have tried contacting her teacher for suggestions but, she had none. I don't know what's to do. DUE ON MONDAY!!!

Brandywhite8382 - This is a simple and fun experiment. Usually just rubbing the balloon against a wool sweater, or even your hair, will create enough negative charge in the balloon to allow it to stick to a wall or other non conductive surface. Two balloons, similarly charged will repel each other. Here is a link to an experiment that might be of help. Humidity can be a factor in your results. You might try a different type of balloon for a better result.

We are having the same problem! Rubbing the balloon on 100% lambs wool sweater and the ballon won't stick no matter how many times we rub! Heading to the store now to buy different balloons. Any other suggestions???
