Sarah S,
To get started I suggest you read over the Abstract (i.e. Purpose) information found in the Project Guide section of the Science Buddies website.
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/mentorin ... ract.shtml
It will help you formulate your Abstract and provides a checklist so you know you are including all the information you need.
Regards,
Melissa G.

Hey,
The purpose of your project states what your project sets out to accomplish. For example, in a project called "Which Battery Lasts The Longest," the purpose is to determine which battery lasts the longest out of a selected few. The purpose is short and is very similar to the title of your project
Hope I helped!
