Hi,
This is a very interesting idea! Here is a website that I think will help you get started on your project:
http://www.ehow.com/way_5119993_do-bett ... light.html
I think this project is definitely doable within 2 weeks, as long as the weather cooperates and you get enough natural sunlight! Just make sure to check out the Sciencebuddies guides on variables -- be sure to keep as many variables constant as possible. Basically, you will want to keep everything else in the environment the same...except for the sunlight vs. artificial growth light. Hope this helps, best of luck!

Re: natural light or artificial grow light?
Hello,
This project sounds really interesting. I think that you can get this done within a few weeks, just make sure that you pick plants that will grow fast enough for you to measure in your time period. In addition, you are going to want to have multiple plants in each category (artificial and natural light).
Hope this helps,
Nithin T
