Hi, I'm doing my science fair project on a robotic hand like the one in grasping for straws. What type of things should I look at for my research?

Hello and thank you for patiently waiting for a response to your questions!

This sounds like a fun project! There are several projects on robotic hands in the Science Buddies project database:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ject-ideas

Search for the words "robotic hand". Read the background and procedures sections to see what sort of observations are being recorded for the various projects. You can find even more information by looking at the reports references in the background section.

You will also find useful information in the Science Buddies project guide for engineering projects:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... cess-guide

That will help you write about your project and set up your lab notebook.

Let us know if these resources are useful and if you have more questions.
