Frozen Rock Experiment Control Group

Post by flayofish »

Hello, struggling with control group criteria for the frozen rock experiment. Determining which of 3 types of rocks become weathered the fastest through repeated freezing and thawing. Would the control group be same types of rocks sitting at room temperature or at room temperature in same amount of water? thanks!

Flayofish,
I think it would be the 2nd one.

Good luck!

Hello Flayofish,

If you have enough rocks, you could also have room temperature without water as a second control group! That might really impress the judges!
