How do you stop plastic pollution?

Postby szeckser » Thu May 02, 2019 2:29 am

What makes you an expert? How old are you? Did you have to work a long time to become an expert? How long have you been a scientist?
How did you figure out how to stop pollution? Did you read about it? Did you need help in solving this problem? Did you do experiments?
We've learned that instead of using plastic, we should use something reusable. Have you heard of the edible forks they make in India? Is that the best solution for plastic waste?
Another solution is to ban plastic. Is this also another good idea, in your opinion?

Hi - Are these questions from a group of students?

Experts in the Ask an Expert forums work in various areas of science and engineering. We may not have an Expert helping in the forums who has a career in environmental science. In general, Experts provide assistance with hands-on science projects.

We are a class of 23/4 students who are studying plastic. How much plastic is wasted every day? Why do you think plastic was invented? Do you think we could live without it? What makes you an expert? How do YOU use plastic? :D
