Does fertilizer hurt worms?
I'm going to use potting soil for an experiment with worms. Will the fertilizer in the potting soil hurt the worms?

Re: Does fertilizer hurt worms?
Hi Andrew,
Yes fertilizer could hurt worms depending on what's in the fertilizer. A chemical fertilizer certainly would hurt worms whereas, a natural fertilizer is much less likely to.
Would you like to share your project with us? That way I may be better able to help you. What question are you asking using the worms? What kind of worms - whatever is naturally present in soil or will you add some of a specific kind?
Best,
MS
