I couldn't find any sources on how to accomplish this task so I am asking you guys.
How does the volume of a butter cube affect the time it takes to melt?

Why don't you do an experiment and find out. Just find a location that is fairly warm with a constant temperature and test several different size cubes of butter (use unsalted). Try to make them all the same shape--a cube. It's a good idea to weigh each one.
