My daughter's project calls for indoor composting. Would the garage be adequate? I don't know who wants to have a composter in their living room.
Re: composting
Hi!
The garage should be fine if certain conditions are met. If you are not using an outdoor space to compost, vermicomposting is your best bet. You will need a worm bin, and you will mostly only be able to use kitchen scraps. You will also need redworms, which thrive around 55 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit. If your garage is not this temperature, I suggest you should find a place that can achieve these temperatures. A closet could maybe work, and some people even but these bins in their kitchens as they say that these worms are very contained.
