Project Question: In the electrolyte challenge it lists in materials that you need a resistor. But nowhere in the procedure does it tell you how or where to use it.

In the project Electrolyte challenge listed in the materials is a 1k resistor. However in the procedure it is not mentioned anywhere in the set up? Help!

Hi leagan,

That resistor is only required when troubleshooting to see if you blew a fuse in your multimeter. See this part of the FAQ:

It is not required for the regular procedure. So hopefully, you will not need it!
