Rate of a Chemical Reaction by Changing the Particle Size of the Reactants

Post by nuvirowu »

Hello...
So i'm doing the experiment Can You Change the Rate of a Chemical Reaction by Changing the Particle Size of the Reactants. this experiment is actually on science buddies, you can search and find it. click the procedure. i'm unsure of where to place the Alka-Seltzer tablet, upon completion of setting up the apparatus. does it go in the plastic tub or in the graduated cylinder?? maybe the squirt bottle

Hi - That step does look like it should be clarified.

You want to drop the tablet in the bottle that you've filled to the marked line, and you will then quickly put the cap on. See step 4 in the Running the Experiment section.
