need help?

Post by anhnn1234 »

I am currently trying to do the project titled "Less Cowbell! The Unconstrained Truth About Constrained Layer Damping" and I can't seem to find one of the materials. It says you need double-sided carpet tape for the viscoelastic layer but I don't think I can find the right one. Is there any other alternative? Can you give me any specifics on what it looks like and how to get it? I would appreciate any help!!

Hi anhnn1234,

Any kind of double-sided carpet tape should work if it secures your metal or plastic dampener to the cookie sheet as described in the project procedure. Two examples of suitable carpet tape are shown at the following links:

https://www.amazon.com/XFasten-Double-S ... dpSrc=srch

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Roberts-Ind ... /100645279

Or you can find it at local hardware or home improvement stores.

I hope this helps. Please ask again if you have more questions.
