How to make a bio-fuel cell patch?

Post by farmenthes89 »

My friend and I were thinking if it was possible to make napkins consisting bio-fuel cell patches. These napkins could be distributed amongst the labourers, farmers, rickshaw pullers etc so that they can use their sweat to produce electric energy by the help of these. Is this a feasible idea? If so, how can we make bio-fuel cell patches that suit the idea?

Hi farmenthes89,

Technology for producing electricity from sea water has been developed fairly recently. So it might be possible to use the same ideas to produce electricity from sweat. A couple of challenges that come to mind are 1) making the technology small enough (and safe) for a person to carry around, and 2) developing a device to store any electricity produced.

I hope this helps. Please ask again if you have more questions.
