Hi Brandon2206,

A great way to start with your background information is to make a list of questions related to your topic. Some example questions that come to mind are:

What factors affect dissolving time of solid materials?
Why is dissolving time important for pharmaceuticals?
How do pharmaceutical companies change the dissolving time of their products?

And I'm sure there are other questions you might want to consider for inclusion in your background research.

Once you have a good list of questions you can begin finding the answers by searching online or at your local library.

You might want to consult the part of the Science Fair Project Guide that discusses background research. The Project Guide is here:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... %3DParents

And there are separate sections for background research plans, finding information and other items under the heading “Doing Background Research”.

I hope this helps. Please ask again if you have more questions.
