Hi aryank,
Is there a specific characteristic or hypothesis that you are hoping to test for?
To get started, please try the search term "fire retardant experiment" in google and I think you will come across experiment such as this:

I hope this gives you some ideas to formulate your experiment. Good Luck and please post again if there's anything else we can do to help.

Thanks Mr.Willey.

Are there some natural materials that are good fire retardants that I test out?

Hi aryank,
There are a number of good natural material to consider - mineral wool probably being one of the most common.
It really depends on the hypothesis and how your experiment will be conducted to test it though.

Here's a link from wikipedia for more information / idea.

Good Luck!
