prolonging reaction of sodium acetate and water

Post by mimi2045 »

Hi,

Just wondering how the exothermic of sodium acetate that has been supersaturated in water (with use of a catalyst) used in hadn't warmers can be extended. Currently only gives out heat for around 1hr, was wondering what could be done to increase this time.

thanks

Hello,
This forum is for students in grades K-12 who are doing science projects. You are registered as an adult - if you are a student in grades K-12, please describe your science project in more detail. Otherwise, there are other websites on the internet where your questions would be more appropriate. Thank you.
