Research question from a claim help

Post by Tim123 »

Hello,
i need help developing a research question from a claim, the claim is "The level of chemical usage in agriculture is causing changes to the environment"
The question I am developing so far is - To what extent does the use of pesticides runoff systems affect the biological conditions of waterways compared to crop farms without a pesticide runoff system?

Does this question need to be developed further or is it sufficient?

thank you for your help

Hello. This forum is to help students with their science fair project and STEM activities. Sounds like you are working on a legal issue(?). If so, there are other forums on the internet more appropriate for your question. Thanks, and good luck!

Can you please clarify what grade this is for and tell us more about your school assignment or project?

Will you be doing a hands-on school project to investigate/experiment after you establish your question?

You can find out more about writing the science question here: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... t-question
(I assume you'll be following that with a hypothesis step and identification of variables if you are working on a project.)
