Aquarium ph and alkalinity
I just had my aquarium water tested. I have a pH of 8.4 but alkalinity at 0. Is this possible? Please explain.

Hey hotpockets626,
I’m no expert with pH, but the pH scale includes alkalinity and acidity. This link might help. https://courses.lumenlearning.com/wmope ... -ph-scale/
I don’t think that it’s possible to have an alkalinity of zero, because that would be acidic. You should probably just read the pH reading.
