copper measuring kit

Post by rlk27 »

I am doing a project for phytoremediation with plant. I bought copper measuring stripes to measure the copper uptake of a dried plant. But the copper test strip does not seem to work. any alternate ways to measure copper and sulfate?

Hello!

I don't know of any alternative methods for measuring copper uptake that wouldn't require access to expensive machinery in a chemistry lab. But I think the copper test strips should theoretically work. What's the exact procedure that you used to take readings with the strips? Maybe there's something we can tweak to make them work better.
