hello, my name is rebecca and i am in grade 9. i am just starting a science assignment, 'which type of bread decays the quickest', and am not real sure on what i should be researching, and so far haven't found any useful infromation. thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean by "decays" with respect to bread.

Is this a science fair project?

Are you thinking about leaving slices of bread out exposed to air? Typically what happens is mold spores landing on the bread will find it to be a good media to grow on. Bacteria also will land on the bread and grow on it.

While low concentrations of most air bourn mold and bacteria aren't toxic to humans, some strains when they are allowed to multiply become infectious or produce toxic chemicals and become a health hazzard.

Check your science fair guidelines as this kind of experiment might not be allowed.
