Quantum Cryptography

Post by rachelbaker22 »

I would like to do a project about quantum cryptography which can prove that it is a 100% secure and that it is possible to detect any eavesdropper. I started working on the BB84 and Ekert protocol but I want to do some kind of experiment or amazing project. Is it even possible for me to build the BB84 system for real? I mean, create photons and a data base in order to keep the basis and polarization results...

Here it is the Excel document I've been working on...

Thank you!

Hi rachelbaker2,

I think you have an original and interesting idea for a project. But cryptography of any kind is well outside of my experience. Perhaps one of the other experts can help here. Or you may want to try posting your question in the Math and Computer Science section of the forum.

I hope this helps. Please ask again if you have more questions.
