Physics HELP!! PLEASE

Post by joliax »

Im doing a project and i am struggling. It{s the sciencebuddies project on blood spatter CSI. My teacher is making me write about independent and dependent variables and i am so confused. I asked him for help and he told me to google it. I cant figure out the independent and dependent variable for blood spatter. I think the spatter itself is the independent but whats the dependent ... im supposed to build my hpothesis based on the variables but idk

so far this is my hypothesis .

If the distance between the blood splatter and the source of the splatter increases then the size of the blood splatter ellipses will decrease because it’s traveling a farther distance .

any help on building a new hypothesis and on defining the variables_
thank you so much.

this project is 70% of my grade and im a senior ! assistance please

Hello,

Here's a link to the Science Buddies project guide. I think you will find all of it helpful, but look particularly at the section labeled "Constructing a Hypothesis".

Let us know if this was helpful and if you have more questions.
