Reflection?

Post by JonathanTorres212 »

When there is an object that has light shined upon it, and there is a resulting shadow on the wall in front of said object (shadow puppets), is that a reflection? refraction? simply a shadow? (There is a light eminating from a room, with object being 7 ft away from the doorway of the room and being few feet away from the wall). Room(light) ------ object ----wall (shadow). hopefully i explained this well enough. I recall saying how nice the projection was and my friend said "the reflection?" and i said "the shadow". he insisted "you mean, the reflection". i didnt want to argue...

Hi,

This forum is intended for students, parents, and teachers working on K-12 science projects. If your question is related to a science project, please post some details such as your hypothesis, research question or experimental plan. If you are looking for help with homework or general science discussions there are other sites that should be able to answer your question.
