Astronomy: Planets within Emission Nebulae

Postby goodguygrey72 » Thu Apr 23, 2020 6:17 pm

Hello, I just wanted to know if it is possible for a planet to exist within an emission nebula? If so, to expand on this, could that planet support life due to the heat and light provided by the nebula?

Thanks so much in advance!

Hello Goodguy,

This forum's purpose is to assist students, teachers, and parents with K–12 science projects. If your question is related to a science project that you are currently working on, then please provide more detailed information about it, such as your experimental procedure or hypothesis. Otherwise, there are other sites on the web where your questions would be more appropriate.

Thank you,
